Job Overview
In this role, you will be responsible for responding to customer inquiries via phone in a fast-paced call center environment. You will provide top-notch support to our clients' customers, addressing their questions, concerns, and needs in a timely and professional manner. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the face of our company, and your excellent communication skills, empathy, and problem-solving abilities will be essential in resolving customer issues and ensuring their satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer telephone calls, providing assistance with account maintenance, refund inquiries, password resets, and online State Registration requirements
- Perform light to moderate research using online web tools to resolve customer inquiries
- Maintain a working knowledge of current tax laws and policies, staying up-to-date on revised policies, procedures, regulations, and tax laws to accurately educate and advise internal and external customers
- Assist customers either by phone or in person, providing account maintenance according to tax laws and policies and procedures
- Provide customer support for online self-service functions through the Georgia Tax Center
- Use technology for advanced support, ensuring efficient and effective resolution of customer issues
Qualifications and Skills

Essential Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Six months of call center experience handling customer questions, complaints, and/or providing information
- Customer Service: Ability to appropriately address customer issues, achieving customer satisfaction while respecting business needs
- Results Orientation: Ability to identify the most appropriate method for completing a project or reaching a goal
- Good Judgment & Decision Making: Ability to evaluate all relevant aspects of a situation and make an appropriate decision
- Accountability: Ability to accept responsibility for one's actions with honesty and integrity, maintaining credibility and commitment to organizational success
- Teamwork & Cooperation: Ability to promote a team atmosphere, be respectful of all team members, and work well with co-workers and leadership

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a high-volume Contact Service environment
- Bilingual in Spanish or a second language, with good verbal and written communication skills in English
- Prior experience working in a remote or virtual call center environment
