About the Opportunity

This is a remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere across the 50 states (excluding Puerto Rico). blithequark is committed to providing comprehensive paid training to equip you with the necessary tools and resources to excel in your role. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the frontline representative of blithequark, interacting with customers through various channels, including phone, email, and web browsers.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize standard call-center technology to manage customer interactions efficiently.
• Assist callers in completing online applications, ensuring a seamless user experience.
• Respond to telephone inquiries within designated time parameters, providing timely and effective solutions.
• Report problems and concerns through our online system, contributing to continuous improvement.
• Engage with claimants and third-party contacts through written and telephone communications, demonstrating professionalism and empathy.
• Participate in training sessions, team meetings, and reviews of internal and external communications to stay aligned with best practices.
• Adhere to your scheduled work hours and maintain confidentiality in accordance with the programs we serve.
• Complete assigned training modules to enhance your knowledge and performance.
• Maintain accurate timesheets and stay updated on regulations and policies relevant to our services.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership, showcasing your adaptability and commitment to team goals.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of customer service or call center experience, with a proven track record of delivering excellent service.
• The ability to type at a minimum of 20 words per minute, ensuring efficient data entry and communication.
• Proficiency in working with a PC and the Windows operating system, with the ability to quickly adapt to new software and technologies.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• A team-oriented mindset, with a willingness to collaborate and support colleagues.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken, to effectively communicate with customers and team members.

Experience working with the Florida Department of Commerce (Unemployment) is highly preferred, as it demonstrates your familiarity with the specific needs and challenges of our customers.

Work Schedule and Project Details

This is a full-time position, requiring a Monday through Friday schedule. The hours of operation vary from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, subject to business needs.
