Key Responsibilities
As a Collections Representative - Small Business Financial Solutions, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Handling inbound and outbound calls: You will communicate with small business customers regarding overdue payments, finding solutions to help them get back on track, and answering any questions they may have.
- Providing personalized solutions: You will work with customers to find creative solutions that fit their unique situations, allowing them to maintain their dignity and fulfill their financial obligations.
- Maintaining accurate records: You will ensure that all customer interactions are accurately documented and up-to-date.
- Managing delinquency stages: You will work with customers to move them through various stages of delinquency, bringing loans to a current status.
- Following collection laws and practices: You will adhere to all relevant collection laws and practices, including FDCPA and FCRA regulations.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Strong verbal communication and negotiation skills: You must be able to communicate effectively with customers, finding solutions that meet their needs.
- Empathy and patience: You must be able to approach sensitive issues with kindness and understanding.
- Independence and problem-solving skills: You must be able to work independently, balancing multiple priorities and handling changing situations.
- Computer proficiency and data entry skills: You must be able to accurately enter data and use computer software, including Salesforce.
- Knowledge of FDCPA and FCRA practices: You must have a basic understanding of collection laws and practices.
Preferred qualifications include:

Compensation and Benefits
For Colorado-based candidates, the total compensation target is $52,000-$70,000. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and may fall outside of the range shown. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in incentive and benefits plans.
