We are seeking a passionate and experienced tutor to provide academic support to American Indian students in our community. As a Tutor for American Indian Students, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students, helping them to succeed in their academic pursuits and reach their full potential. This role offers a flexible schedule, with up to 6 hours of work per week, Monday through Friday, and a competitive salary dependent on education and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized academic support to American Indian students in various grade levels
• Assist students with homework and academic assignments, promoting understanding and comprehension
• Collaborate with teachers and other educators to develop and implement effective learning strategies
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting cultural sensitivity and awareness

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to connect with students and educators
• Understanding of child development and learning principles, with a passion for education and student success
• Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations, promoting equity and inclusion
