We are looking for an experienced U.S.-based IP attorney to help us resolve an active IP enforcement matter involving product design and branding in consumer goods. We need someone who can quickly evaluate the file, advise on strategy, deal with opposing counsel, and push the matter toward an efficient resolution. Most of our matters are resolved out of court, and we prefer practical counsel who can solve problems without unnecessary escalation, while being ready to take stronger action if needed. Our company is based in Ohio and the opposing side is in New Hampshire. Because patent-related issues may be involved, the matter may require federal court strategy, so candidates should be comfortable working across jurisdictions and coordinating with local counsel if required. Relevant experience includes design patent, trade dress, trademark infringement, unfair competition, pre-suit enforcement, and federal litigation or injunction matters.
