A.M. Castle & Co. is seeking an experienced Temporary, Part-Time Recruiter to join our Corporate HR team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make an impact in a growing organization by recruiting top talent to join our company. You will have the opportunity to assist in the full life-cycle of recruiting, including posting job openings, sourcing and reviewing resumes, conducting phone screens, coordinating interviews with hiring managers, and assisting with the offer process. Previous full-cycle recruitment experience is required. This role is fast-paced and requires superior communication and organization skills. It also requires self-motivation and a drive to deliver for the team and our organization. This is a temporary, 3 ? 6 month opportunity for 15 ? 30 hours per week. However, there is the possibility of this position evolving into a longer term role and to expand beyond recruiting, if your skills match other needs in the HR organization. Compensation is $30 - $50 per hour and is based on experience. Ideal candidate will reside close to the corporate location in Oak Brook, IL but the position can be done completely remote. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (performs other duties as assigned): ? Opening job requisitions in a timely fashion ? Screening candidates for open requisitions ? Contacting candidates and conducting phone screens ? Coordinating virtual and face-to-face interviews with hiring managers ? Typing and maintaining notes in the applicant tracking system ? Reviewing applications and interviewing applicants to match experience with specific job related requirements ? Successfully manages, prioritizes and closes requisitions against stated timelines ? Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; verifying references; comparing qualifications to job requirements ? Partners with hiring managers to identify position specifications, develop job descriptions and educates them on the legal requirements of recruitment ? Leverages online recruiting resources and in-house ATS to source high quality candidates. ? Ensure a seamless candidate experience throughout the hiring process ? Provides complete, accurate, and inspiring information to candidates about the Company and position. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: ? High School Diploma or equivalent. Some college is a plus ? Minimum of 1 year Full Cycle Recruitment experience ? Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills ? Proficient in Microsoft Office suite ?
