As a Staff Accountant, you will play a key role in maintaining and reconciling financial records, preparing financial statements, and assisting with various accounting tasks. Responsibilities
- Advanced knowledge of the department's SOPs and ability to identify the connection between the different processes across Vensure.
- Balance sheet reconciliations and monthly close transactional review. G/L posting, fixed assets/depreciation, cost-center allocations, prepaid expenses and accrued liabilities support.
- Assisting in audit preparation and responses.
- Attention to detail and assisting the team leader in controlling accounting associates.
- Providing active support in the training of the team itself and in the analysis of complex cases and doubt resolution.
- Providing feedback and suggestions to improve processes efficiency.
- Reviewing compliance with KPI's and assisting team leaders in internal reports.
- Natural curiosity - will research and figure out possible requests.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- CPA certification or progress towards certification is a plus.
