Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop new features for our plugin portfolio, with a focus on WP Activity Log and WP 2FA
- Identify and implement AI integration opportunities to enhance our development workflows and product features
- Review, contribute, and improve our existing open-source codebases
- Collaborate with support and product teams to troubleshoot and fix bugs
- Stay up-to-date with the latest WordPress and web security trends
- Uphold high code quality standards through thorough reviews, testing, and best practices
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for projects
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience developing WordPress plugins (free and/or premium)
- 6+ years of experience working with PHP, JavaScript, and MySQL
- Deep understanding of WordPress architecture, including hooks, REST API, security best practices, and performance
- Solid knowledge of WordPress/web security, with experience in logging/logs, authentication, and user account security
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Experience with AI tools, especially those that accelerate development or enhance plugin features
- Experience with Git and conflict resolution
- Comfortable working in a remote team and capable of working independently
- Strong communication skills and proficiency in English
