About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Statistics Architect to join our team in Costa Rica. As a Senior Statistics Architect, you will be instrumental in transforming and innovating our end-to-end Voice of the Customer (VOC) methodology. This involves working closely with various stakeholders, including product and process owners, subject matter experts, and our agile technology team to design, develop, and implement cutting-edge data solutions that drive customer insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with utility teams to define, frame, and capture business needs, ensuring that our VOC methodology is aligned with organizational objectives.
- Develop and maintain the new VOC methodology sourced from Cornerstone and integrated with the Survey and Dashboard Platform hosted by Qualtrics, our survey vendor.
- Design and build robust data model architecture to support efficient data processing and standardized metric definitions, leveraging big data technologies such as Hadoop, HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Spark, and Python.
- Enable big data and batch/real-time analytical solutions to deliver innovative solutions, ensuring data quality and accuracy through extensive testing at various levels and use cases.
- Provide guidance to enhance competencies and drive efficiency in computing programs using the massive data ecosystem.
- Drive consumer tale analysis and elaboration, design, and development of software programs, testing, and builds automation tools.
- Proactively identify and automate manual tasks to improve quality and efficiency.
- Work closely with partners from various business units to prioritize, define, develop, and test data for various use cases as part of the VOC end-to-end methodology.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- Hands-on development experience with Hive/Hadoop, PySpark, Python, and shell scripting languages for data-driven tasks, with a minimum of 3+ years of experience.
- Active collaboration with relationship managers/product owners to understand functional requirements and convert them into technical deliverables.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies of delivery, where small increments of a product are introduced at regular intervals to business groups.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, data processing, and data quality.
- Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Spark, and Python.
Preferred Qualifications
While not mandatory, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- Experience working in a customer-facing industry, preferably in a role related to customer insights or VOC.
- Knowledge of survey design and analysis.
- Familiarity with Qualtrics or other survey platforms.
- Experience with data visualization tools and techniques.
