We’re looking for a Senior Legal Lead to join our team. You will be responsible for assisting the Director of Legal with various daily tasks, such as supporting the legal aspects of the development of the company's offering, supporting the contract redlining process for incoming clients, and following up on ongoing contracts and negotiations. This is a fully remote opportunity.
What you’ll do
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts
Support leadership with new initiatives, including product development and intellectual property matters
Provide support in the intake-to-procure processes for Graphite’s vendors, including onboarding
Identification of legal issues and risks that may affect Graphite
Follow up on regulatory matters under different frameworks
Work along with an international team of lawyers to establish contract templates and workstreams
NDA analysis and tracking
Contracts management
What you’ll need
Law Degree
5+ years of experience in similar roles in-house or in a Law firm
Strong knowledge of Commercial Law. Knowledge of Corporate, Labour, or IP Law is highly desirable
Proven experience in drafting, negotiating, and advising on commercial contracts, with a pragmatic and commercial approach, in English
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask & prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Proactive, highly organized, and with a sense of urgency
LLM would be a big plus
