About the Role
The Senior Customer Service Representative - Repair & Service is a critical position that requires a deep understanding of blithequark's products and services, as well as the ability to navigate complex customer inquiries. This role involves preparing quotes on repairs, placing customer orders, and ensuring that customer expectations are met or exceeded. You'll also be responsible for guiding and advising less experienced Customer Service Representatives, making this an excellent opportunity for those looking to develop their leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to complex customer inquiries regarding products and quotes, providing accurate and timely solutions.
- Influence gross profit through strategic negotiation of sale and purchase prices within established parameters.
- Monitor service requests and assign technicians to appropriate jobs, ensuring efficient service delivery.
- Communicate effectively with customers to schedule appointments and provide updates on service status.
- Maintain accurate records of service requests, work orders, and customer interactions.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to drive repeat business and identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Expedite backorders and source products from branch inventory, distribution center inventory, or supplier inventory.
- Determine the most cost-effective shipping method for customer orders.
- Handle customer returns and provide coaching, guidance, and direction to less experienced Customer Service Representatives.
- Collaborate with Service Technicians to determine corrective repair actions and ensure quality and safety in the branch.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A high school diploma or GED, combined with a minimum of five (5) years of related experience or an equivalent combination.
- Mechanical and/or Industrial parts experience, which is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and listening.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask.
- Proficiency in computer skills, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems.
- Negotiation skills, with a proven track record of achieving successful outcomes.
- Reliability, attention to detail, and a customer-centric approach.
Preferred Qualifications
