Key Responsibilities: As an Experienced Customer Service Associate at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for: - Providing customers with courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service, ensuring a positive experience from start to finish. - Registering customer purchases on assigned cash register, collecting cash and distributing change as requested; processing voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed. - Recommending items for sale to customers and suggesting trade-up and/or companion items to enhance their shopping experience. - Maintaining a clean and well-merchandised store environment, including counters, shelves, and displays. - Implementing Company asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss. - Ensuring compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products (e.g., alcoholic beverages and tobacco products). - Assisting with separation of food items and product placement as specified by policies/procedures. - Providing customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print, and creative machine. - Assuming web pick-up responsibilities, including monitoring orders, filling orders, and delivering orders to customers. - Assisting with exterior and interior maintenance by ensuring a clean, neat, and orderly store condition and appearance. - Complying with all company policies and procedures, maintaining respectful relationships with coworkers. - Completing special assignments and other tasks as assigned. Essential Qualifications: To succeed in this role, you'll need: - A high school diploma or equivalent. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues. - A strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service, with a focus on creating a positive experience for every customer. - The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm. - Basic math skills, with the ability to handle cash and operate a cash register. - A willingness to learn and adapt to new systems, processes, and technologies.
