As a Warehouse Team Member, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to ensure the accuracy, efficiency, and productivity of our warehouse operations. This includes receiving and processing incoming stock, picking and filling orders, packaging and shipping orders, and maintaining organized warehouse inventory. You'll be working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment that requires strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Unloading and verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders and invoices to ensure accuracy and attention to detail
- Pulling stock and fulfilling orders for shipment, meeting productivity and quality standards
- Accurately labeling and preparing packages for transport, ensuring timely and secure delivery
- Inspecting stock for damage or defects, reporting any discrepancies or issues to management
- Organizing and maintaining warehouse inventory using inventory management software, ensuring data accuracy and up-to-date records
- Accurately entering data into computer systems, maintaining attention to detail and adherence to procedures
- Operating material handling equipment, including pallet jacks, forklifts, and order pickers, with a focus on safety and efficiency
- Complying with safety regulations, company policies, and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's Degree preferred, with a strong foundation in logistics, distribution, or a related field
- 1-3 years of experience in warehousing, logistics, or distribution, with a proven track record of success and growth
- Ability to operate material handling equipment and fulfill physical requirements of the position, including bending, standing, and lifting, with a focus on safety and well-being
- Knowledge of safety practices and safety-related requirements in the warehouse, with a commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment
- Ability to operate inventory management software, email, and other relevant computer systems, with a strong foundation in technology and data management
- Effective communication and team working skills, with a focus on collaboration, adaptability, and problem-solving
