They are seeking a Software Engineer to develop and maintain scalable, cloud-based software solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features and improvements to their platform.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain full-stack applications using PHP and Laravel
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
- Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback
- Support application deployment and ongoing maintenance
- Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers, to ensure that software solutions meet business requirements
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance
- Communicate with stakeholders, including management, customers, and other teams, to ensure that software solutions meet their needs
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment
- Eagerness to learn and grow under the mentorship of senior engineers
- Experience with tools such as Git, Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience working with one or more cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and familiar with their services and APIs
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and able to collaborate effectively with other team members
- Demonstrated experience using AI coding assistants in a professional or project setting
- Ability to write clear, specific prompts that produce useful outputs
- Strong critical evaluation skills—able to identify subtle bugs, inefficiencies, or security issues in generated code
- Understanding of AI limitations, including hallucinations, outdated patterns, and context window constraints
