Position Overview
The Remote Senior Customer Sales Executive – Amazon Protein Portfolio is accountable for the full P&L of Hershey’s protein products on Amazon.com and its affiliated services (3P, Prime Pantry, Amazon Fresh, Whole Foods, etc.). You will develop and execute multi‑year growth roadmaps, negotiate joint business plans, and champion the brand’s digital presence from concept through execution.

Core Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Execution
- Develop a comprehensive Amazon Protein growth strategy that incorporates market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive dynamics.
- Present strategic roadmaps and performance forecasts to senior leadership, influencing resource allocation and investment decisions.
- Coordinate annual and quarterly business plans with brand, supply chain, and digital teams, ensuring alignment on SKU assortments, pricing, and promotional calendars.
Customer & Partner Relationship Management
- Own the end‑to‑end partnership with Amazon Category Managers, negotiating Joint Business Plans (JBPs) that maximize shelf space, marketing spend, and promotional support.
- Facilitate regular business reviews with Amazon account teams, highlighting performance metrics, growth opportunities, and risk mitigation strategies.

Merchandising, Marketing & Advertising
- Design and execute merchandising plans that optimize product titles, images, bullet points, Enhanced Brand Content (EBC), and A+ Content.
- Collaborate with digital marketing to allocate and manage Amazon Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and DSP campaigns, targeting ROI and ACOS goals.
- Utilize Amazon Marketing Services (AMS) and Amazon Advertising console data to refine keyword strategies, bid adjustments, and seasonal promotions.
Data Analysis & Performance Tracking
- Define KPI dashboards (sales, share of voice, conversion rate, inventory health, advertising spend) and deliver weekly/monthly performance reports to stakeholders.
- Interpret Amazon Brand Analytics, Retail Analytics, and third‑party market research to identify growth levers and mitigate under‑performance.
- Implement A/B testing frameworks for listings, pricing, and promotional tactics, iterating based on statistical significance.
Operational Excellence & Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Ensure catalog accuracy, inventory availability, and forecast reliability by partnering with supply chain and demand planning teams.
- Champion best practices for compliance, brand safety, and Amazon policy adherence across all product listings.

Essential Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of direct P&L ownership in a digital commerce environment, preferably within Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) or nutrition categories.
- Amazon Expertise: Proven track record managing an Amazon account (including 3P, Vendor Central, or both) with demonstrable sales growth.
- Strategic Acumen: Ability to synthesize market data, consumer insights, and competitive intelligence into actionable business strategies.
- Leadership & Influence: Strong interpersonal skills to lead cross‑functional teams, influence senior stakeholders, and manage external agencies.
