We are seeking a passionate and experienced Personal Finance Tutor to join our team of educators on Outschool, a leading online learning platform. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver engaging online classes, workshops, or one-on-one sessions on personal finance topics tailored to teenagers
- Create a supportive and interactive learning environment, fostering a sense of community and encouraging students to ask questions and share their thoughts
- Develop and implement effective lesson plans, incorporating real-world examples and case studies to illustrate key concepts and principles
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students, helping them to set and achieve their financial goals
- Collaborate with the Outschool team to ensure high-quality teaching and learning experiences
Requirements:
- At least 18 years old and residing in the United States, Mexico, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea, or the United Kingdom
- Ability to receive PayPal payments and have a reliable internet connection (over 3Mbps upload and download)
- Expertise or passion for personal finance, with the ability to create engaging and informative classes
- Strong communication and technical skills, with the ability to effectively run online classes
- Good command of written and spoken English, with the ability to verify identity and pass a criminal background check
