About the Role

The Trip Assignment Specialist plays a critical role in our operations, ensuring the seamless coordination of trips for our clients. Working remotely on a night shift schedule, Monday to Friday (11:30 pm to 8 am PT), you will be responsible for assigning trips to our dispatchers and Care Partners, managing schedules, and handling evening trips as they come in. This is a unique chance to work independently while being part of a dynamic team that is making a difference in people's lives.

Key Responsibilities

• Assign trips to dispatchers in our Health-E Rides system, managing approximately 700-900 trips per night.
• Build daily schedules for dispatchers, ensuring breaks and lunches are appropriately scheduled.
• Determine dispatcher eligibility for trips based on language requirements and other factors.
• Stack trips to contracted Care Partners efficiently.
• Respond to inbound calls from members during evening hours, providing excellent customer service.
• Coordinate evening trips as they are received, ensuring timely and effective service.
• Assist with administrative tasks related to Care Partners, including payment processing.
• Manage Level 1 administrative tickets in Zendesk, resolving issues promptly.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• Previous experience in dispatching and coordinating transportation, preferably in a healthcare or related field.
• A strong track record of reliability and punctuality, with the ability to work consistently on evening shifts.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact with clients and team members professionally.
• Proficiency in using technology, including dispatch software and customer service platforms.
• Healthcare experience is preferred, but not required; we provide comprehensive training to ensure your success.
