Job Overview:

We're looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Medical Transcriptionist to transcribe medical reports, summaries, and other documents from recorded messages. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in radiology transcription, proficiency in using foot pedal transcription equipment, and excellent computer skills. Key Responsibilities:

• Transcribe medical reports, summaries, and other medical documents from recorded messages with high accuracy and attention to detail
• Review and edit drafts to ensure accuracy of medical terminology and adherence to report format
• Utilize foot pedal and macro system efficiently to maximize productivity
• Coordinate with medical staff to clarify any unclear or vague information
• Maintain confidentiality of all transcription reports and patient records

Requirements:

• Availability to work from Saturday to Wednesday, with flexibility to work weekends as needed
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a medical transcriptionist focused on radiology
• Proficiency in using foot pedal transcription equipment and computer
• Good typing speed with exceptional accuracy
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and treatments
• Proficient computer skills with access to a reliable computer and high-quality headset
• Detail-oriented with a strong ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines
