Job Summary:
As a Pharmacy Technician, you'll work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to assist with the practice of pharmacy, including processing prescriptions, managing patient data, and providing exceptional customer service. You'll also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, managing inventory, and supporting the pharmacy team in achieving its goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists with the practice of pharmacy, including processing prescriptions and managing patient data
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner
- Maintain accurate records, manage inventory, and support the pharmacy team in achieving its goals
- Collaborate with pharmacists, technicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the smooth operation of the pharmacy
- Participate in training and development programs to maintain and improve your skills and knowledge
Requirements:
- Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico)
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours
- Preferred: 6 months of experience in a retail environment, previous experience with Walgreens, and PTCB or ExCPT certification
