Remote Medical Transcriptionist - Houston

Join our team as a skilled Medical Transcriptionist in Houston, where you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality transcription services to our clients. We are seeking a talented and motivated individual with a strong background in medical transcription, preferably with 2 years of acute care experience. The ideal candidate will have excellent listening and typing skills, with the ability to adapt to variations in accent, speech, tone, voice, volume, delivery, pronunciation, and enunciation. You will be responsible for transcribing documents from various medical disciplines, including outpatient clinics, emergency rooms, radiology, behavioral health, and more.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Transcribing medical documents with high accuracy and attention to detail
• Correcting spelling, grammar, and punctuation errors
• Utilizing automated spell and grammar check, medical dictionaries, and reference sources as needed
• Meeting turnaround times of 4-24 hours, with the ability to work 24/7, including holidays
• Providing excellent customer support and transcription services to our clients

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A certificate from a Medical Transcription Program
• 2 years of acute care experience, including Operation Reports, Discharge Summaries, History and Physicals, and general office notes
• Excellent listening, typing, and communication skills
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
