As a Remote Medical Customer Service Specialist - Part Time, you'll work closely with our patients, addressing their concerns, and providing timely solutions to their queries. Key Responsibilities
- Timely Issue Identification and Resolution: Review and identify issues from calls into the telephony system in a timely manner (50% of the role).
- Workflow Systems Management: Maintain a working knowledge of workflow systems to properly assign follow-up dates, department requests, and notate accordingly (10%).
- Exceptional Customer Service: Ensure all calls within business hours are answered and handled appropriately, providing exceptionally high customer service to callers within company guidelines (10%).
- Payment Transactions and Requests: Perform payment transactions and request payment from accounts reflecting a balance (10%).
- Administrative Support: Assist with clerical duties as needed, such as email, facsimile, etc. (10%).
- Supervision and Guidance: Work under close supervision and guidance from the supervisor (10%).
Essential and Preferred Qualifications
To excel in this role, you'll need:
- Essential Experience: 1+ year of medical revenue cycle experience.
- Preferred Experience: 2+ years of medical revenue cycle experience, which will be considered an added advantage.
