As an Information Security Manager, you will play a critical role in providing information security support during pre-sales, sales, and ongoing customer assessment processes. Your expertise will be instrumental in maintaining an understanding of our Global Business Travel (GBT) environment, communicating with customers on security-related matters, and drafting responses to security questionnaires. You will also be responsible for staying abreast of the changing security landscape, standardizing and improving existing customer support processes, and evaluating requirements against existing solutions to address customer security concerns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a deep understanding of GBT's technical environment, security posture, and capabilities
- Communicate effectively with customers on security-related matters, including drafting responses to security questionnaires
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve our security posture
- Standardize and improve existing customer support processes and documentation to deliver accurate and effective descriptions of GBT's technical environment and security capabilities
- Evaluate requirements against existing solutions to address customer security concerns and recommend necessary changes to enhance information systems security
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (IT/Security preferred)
- 7+ years of relevant technology experience or similar support function
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with a multi-disciplinary set of stakeholders across different levels and with minimal supervision
- Familiarity with frameworks such as COBIT, ISO 27001/2, NIST Cybersecurity, PCI DSS, and general security practices
- Solid understanding of the business impact of security tools, processes, and policies, as well as technical security safeguards
