Join Our Team as a Remote Data Entry Specialist
As a Remote Data Entry Specialist with Delta Airlines' Operations Analysis and Performance (OAP) department, you'll play a critical role in curating and processing data that fuels our analytics efforts. Our data engineering teams are responsible for creating and maintaining Single Source of Truth data tables, generating automated reports, and driving the adoption of modern data and reporting tools. Key Responsibilities
- Locate and extract data from various sources to support analysis, modeling, and project development.
- Clean and curate datasets by identifying new data sources and collaborating with business stakeholders to determine the best source of information.
- Collaborate with analytics teams to improve automated reports and analyses that support divisional leaders and business stakeholders.
- Leverage emerging technologies to identify efficient and effective ways to communicate data insights that meet divisional needs.
- Support strategy development and project management engagements for individual business units and cross-divisional initiatives.
- Train and mentor team members in various skills and subjects.
- Practice safety-aware behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.
- Demonstrate a team-first mindset, prioritizing the success of our team and business partners.

What You Need to Succeed (Minimum Qualifications)
- 3+ years of related experience in data engineering, analytics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in SQL and ETL/ELT patterns.
- Proficiency with Python, SAS, or other comparable tools and programming languages.
- Ability to troubleshoot a reporting database environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work autonomously, managing multiple requests with varying timelines.
- Self-starter with a resilient, solution-minded approach to complex problems, working independently or as part of a team.
- Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
- Embraces diverse people, ideas, and styles.
- Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
- Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
What Will Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree or certificate in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Science, or a related quantitative field.
- Previous airline experience or knowledge of the aviation industry.
- Working knowledge of and/or experience with cloud-based solutions (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP, etc.).
