We're seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to lead the development of our information pipelines and central tables for OpenAI. As a key member of our team, you will design, build, and manage our data pipelines, ensuring seamless integration of client event data into our data warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and manage data pipelines to support business decision-making, product development, and security frameworks
- Create sanctioned datasets to track key product metrics, including client growth, engagement, and revenue
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Data Science, Product, Marketing, Finance, and Research to understand their data needs and provide solutions
- Implement robust and fault-tolerant systems for data ingestion and processing
- Participate in data architecture and design decisions, bringing strong technical expertise and data-driven insights
- Ensure the security, integrity, and compliance of data according to industry and company standards
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Python, Scala, or Java
- Experience with distributed processing technologies and frameworks, such as Hadoop, Flink, and distributed storage systems (e.g., HDFS, S3)
- Familiarity with ETL schedulers like Airflow, Dagster, or similar frameworks
- Strong understanding of SQL and ability to write, debug, and optimize SQL code
