About Us: We are a growing hospitality group with four fast-casual slice pizza locations and one artisan bakery in New York City. We pride ourselves on creativity, quality, and community. As we expand, we are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper/ Office Accountant to support our financial operations. Job Summary: This position is responsible for managing and overseeing the accounts payable and receivable functions for all five locations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant accounting, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The position is part-time; about 30 hours per week are required. Key Responsibilities: ??Process vendor invoices, verify accuracy, and ensure timely payments ??Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies ??Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances ??Maintain accurate financial records for all locations ??Assist with weekly and monthly financial reporting ??Support month-end closing processes and coordinate with external CPA as needed ??Track and categorize expenses by location ??Communicate with GMs and vendors to resolve payment issues ??Help implement cost control measures and identify financial efficiencies Requirements: ??Minimum 2 years of AP/AR experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry ??Strong understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices ??Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Excel ??Strong attention to detail and time management skills ??Ability to work independently and communicate clearly with a team ??Familiarity with multi-location restaurant operations a plus Job Type: Part-time Pay: $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 30 per week Schedule: ??Monday to Friday Work Location: Remote
