Job Description:
In this role, you'll have the opportunity to:
- Develop and enhance quantitative and factor-based investment strategies for global clients
- Investigate, explore, and identify tools, techniques, and metrics to enhance portfolio value-add
- Manage information, including data and analytics, to inform investment decisions
- Participate in the development and evolution of alpha and portfolio construction strategies
- Perform rigorous research and statistical analysis to drive strategy development and ongoing management
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills, including optimization techniques
- Proficiency in coding languages such as R, Python, or other relevant languages
- Experience working in cloud-based environments, such as AWS (a plus)
- Excellent knowledge of econometrics, statistics, and time-series analysis
- Familiarity with financial databases (e.g., Compustat, Worldscope, DataStream) and risk and optimization tools (e.g., Axioma, Barra)
- A passion for quantitative, research-driven investment management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders
- A results-oriented mindset, with a strong emphasis on high-quality execution
- An excellent academic background, with a working towards an advanced degree in a quantitative field (economics, finance, computer science, or applied mathematics)
