Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and execute manual and automated tests for GroundCloud products
- Validate software releases to ensure they meet functional requirements and quality standards
- Report defects clearly and collaborate with development and product teams to resolve them
- Participate in design and specification reviews, contributing QA feedback early in the process
- Set up and maintain test environments across relevant platforms
- Track quality issues and contribute to defect and compliance documentation
- Share application and QA process knowledge with peers to build team capability
- Perform basic security and performance checks
- Stay current with QA best practices and continuously improve test processes
Skills
- Keen attention to detail with a passion for delivering high-quality products
- Working knowledge of software testing strategies and the software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Familiarity with different testing types (e.g., integration, system, regression, UAT)
- Experience designing effective test cases using test design techniques
- Practical experience with test management or defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail)
- Experience testing web applications, APIs, and mobile platforms
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum processes
- Strong multi-tasking and time management abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Analytical thinker able to identify root causes and document steps clearly
- Basic programming or scripting ability (e.g., Python, JavaScript, or similar)
- Ability to use SQL to query databases and verify data as part of tests
- Some experience with test automation tools or frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Appium, Postman, or similar)
- Prior exposure to logistics, routing, or safety software is a plus
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB Foundation Level) are an advantage
