POSITION SUMMARY
The Project Coordinator plays a vital role in driving
the successful delivery of projects at Tahltan Nation Development Corporation
(TNDC). Acting as a key link between site operations and corporate teams, this
role ensures accurate cost tracking, financial transparency, and smooth project
coordination from start to finish.
In this fast-paced role, you’ll support critical
project functions including cost tracking, LEMs, invoicing, procurement, and
financial reporting—helping teams stay aligned, informed, and on budget. You’ll
also contribute to forecasting, cost analysis, and change management,
identifying risks early and supporting proactive decision-making.
Working closely with Project Controls, Site Teams,
Payroll, Accounts Payable, and Fleet, you’ll play an important role in
maintaining accurate data and supporting efficient project execution across
TNDC operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented

Responsibilities
Construction Coordination & Field Support
- Act as a liaison between field crews, subcontractors,
and project teams, promoting a strong Safety First, Safety Always culture
- Assist with planning and scheduling of project
activities, including materials, equipment, and workforce
- Conduct site inspections, track progress, and support
compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards
- Support quality processes (QMP), including
inspections, RFIs, and NCRs, and assist in resolving onsite issues
Systems, Cost Control & Financial Coordination
- Maintain project systems, including job setup, cost codes, PO
tracking, and resource databases
- Monitor project costs, track expenditures, and perform basic
variance analysis to identify risks
- Support change management by tracking scope and cost adjustments
- Coordinate with Project Management, Payroll, AP, and Fleet to
ensure accurate cost tracking and reporting
LEMs, Invoicing & Reporting
- Prepare and submit LEMs (Labour, Equipment, Materials) in
accordance with client requirements
- Assist with invoicing, accruals, and reconciliation of project
costs
- Compile weekly and monthly reports, including cost tracking,
progress updates, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Support financial forecasting and validate project data with
internal teams and clients
Administration & Compliance
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including drawings, logs,
and reports
- Support subcontractor onboarding and ensure compliance with company
policies and safety standards
- Uphold strong organizational practices, confidentiality, and
professionalism
- Ensure all documentation and reporting meet audit, contractual, and
regulatory requirements

Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in project coordination, cost
tracking, or construction (heavy civil/mining/industrial preferred)
- Post-secondary education in Business, Finance, Project
Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel,
with the ability to learn new systems quickly
- Experience with ERP, project management, or
cost-tracking systems (e.g., Procore, SAP, Viewpoint)
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, contracts, and
specifications
- Understanding of construction or industrial site
operations and safety practices
- Experience with document control, reporting, and basic
financial processes
- Strong organizational, communication, and
problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced
environment
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively,
including in remote/site settings
- Adaptable, professional, and able to maintain
confidentiality

guidance, training, and mentorship to team members, especially local Tahltan
workers, by sharing technical skills, safety practices, and industry knowledge
