About the position
Responsibilities
• Develop & drive sales activation activities like call days with focus on approved priorities
• Assist Sr. Champion in day-to-day pipeline management, prioritization, and support increasing our HP win rate
• Promote and educate Staples' sales teams on products, services, sales, and marketing initiatives.
• Qualify, prepare and present complex hardware, software, and services solutions to Staples' sales teams
• Support team with pricing (Deal regs), configurations, availability, lead qualification, and support driving field alignment with HP Reps.
• Work with both Intel & AMD as needed to secure customer seed units through demo programs
• Collaborate and partner with merchants, PDMs and the Sr. Champion to deliver vendor and internal campaigns that will have measurable results in driving profitable sales
• Deliver program updates and changes to partners and support team as needed.
Requirements
• 5+ years' experience selling desktop technology (including computing devices) and peripherals to customers at the administrative, management, and sr. management level
Nice-to-haves
• Direct Account management experience selling PC technology to corporate, commercial, and enterprise customers
• Knowledge of Salesforce.com or other CRM tools
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Powerpoint, SharePoint, Forms, Etc)
• Ability to operate in legacy ERP systems (MicroStrategy, Sunrise/Sequoia, menu-based systems)
