University Relations serves as a partner and resource for all college/unit communicators.<span class="br"></span>The Marketing Manager plays a crucial role in developing and implementing new marketing strategies that position the college center of excellence in education and teaching. They will have a particular focus on marketing that drives interest and enrollment in the college’s Master of Engineering programs. This position reports to the Assistant Dean of Marketing and Communications and is responsible for identifying marketing opportunities, developing comprehensive marketing plans, and ensuring marketing effectiveness and consistency across schools and departments. The manager will implement effective analytics tools, track metrics, and prepare insightful reports to guide decision-making. This position will have a particular focus marketing Master of Engineering programs, which currently includes 14 on-campus programs and four distance learning programs. The Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role in collaborating with our M.Eng. Programs Support Team and our schools and departments to implement a strategy that drives increases in interest, applications, and matriculation for these important programs.<span class="br"></span>As a key member of the communications team, this individual will manage projects and serve as the point person for externally facing marketing efforts. They will also oversee vendor relationships as needed. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic mindset, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of marketing best practices in higher education.<span class="br"></span><b>What We Need</b><span class="br"></span>Bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years of experience in marketing, communications, or related field, ideally in higher education or a similarly complex environment.<span class="br"></span>Demonstrated success in developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies.<span class="br"></span>Demonstrated experience working with relevant data analytics and other tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEO principles, etc.) for strategic planning and decision-making.<span class="br"></span>Ability to analyze and present on marketing data analytics.<span class="br"></span>Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.<span class="br"></span>Experience in vendor management and budget oversight.<span class="br"></span>Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.<span class="br"></span>Experience in and/or demonstrated commitment to supporting diversity, equity, access, inclusion, and wellbeing.<span class="br"></span>Passionate about working in an organization that values and promotes diversity, equity, inclusion, anti-racism, and wellbeing.<span class="br"></span>Ability to cultivate and develop inclusive and equitable working relationships with students, faculty, staff, and community members.<span class="br"></span><b>What We Prefer</b><span class="br"></span>Master’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field.<span class="br"></span>Experience and demonstrated success in enrollment marketing for a higher education institution.<span class="br"></span>Superior written and verbal communication skills.<span class="br"></span><b>Rewards and Benefits</b><span class="br"></span>This position is located in Ithaca, New York.
