Key Responsibilities
- Data Quality Analysis and Improvement: Identify, analyze, assess, document, and communicate potential quality issues in the way data is collected, stored, processed, or used. Develop and implement plans to address data quality challenges and ensure data integrity.
- Data Cleansing and Standardization: Lead data cleansing projects to standardize transactional processes and ensure seamless handoff to longer-term ownership. Develop and execute plans for maintaining data integrity based on findings from root cause analysis.
- Data Quality Metrics and Reporting: Create data quality metrics to measure the current state of data integrity and the success of data quality initiatives. Perform data analysis and communicate trends and patterns to stakeholders.
- Data Governance and Compliance: Partner with the Data Governance senior manager to build a culture of data accountability. Support the deployment of the Customer Solutions Data Governance vision and strategies.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and deliver presentations and communications that explain critical metrics and findings to stakeholders with some guidance. Prioritize data quality projects based on Data Governance principles and strategic initiatives.
- Data Documentation and Maintenance: Manage data quality documentation by defining and maintaining data rules and definitions.
Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in business, science, or a similar field.
- Work Experience: 4+ years of work experience, with 2+ years of experience in data transformation and cleansing.
- Technical Skills: Advanced experience with Excel, SQL, and PowerBI. Understanding of database and data modeling concepts.
- Data Governance: Knowledgeable in data governance concepts, including the need for documented definitions, calculations, sources, lineage, etc.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree: Master's or higher degree in a related discipline.
- Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of IDN and Definitive data.
