As a Principal HR Data Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and delivering cutting-edge HR reporting and analytics solutions that inform strategic business decisions. Collaborate with senior leadership, cross-functional teams, and key stakeholders to drive a culture of data-driven decision-making and grow HR's people data literacy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead strategic partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to showcase the value of people data insights and influence business decisions
- Design and execute cross-functional analytics projects to advance HR and talent strategies, analyzing KPIs and talent data to identify trends and make recommendations
- Develop engaging presentations to train departments on research findings, leveraging storytelling skills to communicate outcomes and recommendations to senior leaders
- Lead, coach, and provide guidance to other team members, participating in evaluating new technologies to advance the organization's business intelligence needs
- Stay up-to-date with people analytics and industry trends, proactively informing leaders of signals and recommendations to inform employee experience efforts
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field, with 7 years of experience supporting HR technology, including HR report writing or analytics experience
- 3 years of Workday Report Writing experience, SQL experience, or equivalent, with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office/365, especially Excel
- Exceptional analytical and reporting capabilities, with strong oral and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, and business acumen
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities, work through ambiguity, and lead, coach, and provide guidance to other team members
