About the Role: Digital Data Analyst

We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Digital Data Analyst to join our team. As a Digital Data Analyst, you'll work closely with our Head of Data Analytics to drive business decisions through data analysis, visualization, and insights. This is a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic team, leveraging your analytical skills to inform our business strategies and drive growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain data visualizations in Google Data Studio to provide actionable insights for our business teams.
• Set up and maintain quality checks on our data across various platforms, including Sprout Social, Meta ads spends, Supermetrics, and Sailthru.
• Collaborate with our Paid Media team to analyze ad performance, inform strategic decisions, and optimize ad spend.
• Work with our Newsletter project specialist to analyze content performance across media channels and report findings to our Editorial teams.
• Leverage your expertise in Bigquery, Google Data Studio, and other tools to drive data-driven decision-making.

Essential Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• A background in working with GA4 Data, including experience with Bigquery and the GA4 UI.
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining data visualizations using complex data sources in Google Data Studio (Looker).
• The ability to clean and process new, messy data, and to create beautiful, easy-to-understand visualizations for non-technical audiences.
• Advanced skills in Bigquery, including REGEX, PARSE(DATE), windows functions, JSON(), ARRAY(), and advanced aggregation functions.
• A passion for working in a startup environment, where priorities may shift rapidly.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bonus points if you have:

• Experience working with Social Media Data, including analysis and insights.
• Previous experience with Sailthru ESP, Wordpress Database tables, or other relevant tools.
• A background working with Arrayed data in Bigquery.
• Experience with website speed monitoring or digital media/newsletter data analysis.
