POSITION OVERVIEW
Provides strategic and tactical HR support to field operations through high-volume employee relations management, real-time leader coaching, and data-driven insights. Ensures consistent policy application across geographically dispersed workforce while driving risk mitigation and leader effectiveness.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic HR Partnership
• Shapes and executes HR strategy aligned with business priorities; serves as trusted advisor with ability to influence and challenge leaders
Employee Relations & Investigations
• Manages high volume of complex ER cases (performance, conduct, harassment, discrimination) across multiple locations with quality and consistency
• Conducts full-cycle investigations: intake, remote witness interviews, documentation, findings, and recommendations in compliance with multi-state employment law
• Analyzes ER trends to identify systemic issues and recommend preventive actions
Leader Coaching & Training
• Provides real-time coaching on performance management, corrective action, and difficult conversations
• Identifies training gaps from ER trends; partners with L&D to design scalable solutions and measure effectiveness
Workforce & Organizational Support
• Supports workforce planning, organizational design, and change initiatives for high-volume field operations
• Partners with HR Centers of Excellence to deliver field-appropriate solutions
Compliance & Analytics
• Ensures consistent policy application across multi-state workforce with strong employment law knowledge
• Translates people data into actionable insights to drive performance improvement
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field (or equivalent)
Experience: 5-8+ years HR experience with:
• Significant ER and investigation experience in high-volume environment
• Supporting field-based, geographically dispersed workforces
• Managing large caseloads while maintaining quality
• Partnered with leaders and legal counsel to support labor relations strategy
Certifications: HR certification preferred (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP)
Technical Skills: HRIS systems (Workday), ER case management tools
Other:
• 20-30% travel; operates with high degree of autonomy
• Located in eastern time zone preferred

COMPENSATION
-Based on relevant experience, $80,000-110,000 annual salary
-Bonus Potential 10%
