Role Description
We are a busy, established behavioral health group practice seeking a highly experienced mental health billing specialist. This role is not entry-level, not trainable, and not a learning opportunity.
This role exists for one reason: to take full ownership of our billing and revenue cycle inside TherapyNotes and keep money moving without hand-holding.
Qualifications
• Several years of direct, daily experience using TherapyNotes EHR
• Strong experience with Availity
Requirements
• Claims creation, submission, and tracking
• ERA/EOB posting
• Patient balances and unapplied credits
• Account reconciliation
• Full revenue cycle mastery
• Insurance verification
• Charge entry
• Denial and rejection management
• Appeals and follow-up until paid
• Advanced denial management skills
• Ability to identify root causes
• Correct errors, resubmit, and follow through
• Aggressively chase unpaid claims
• Eligibility and benefits verification
• Claim status checks
• Payer communication
• Independent problem-solving
