Key Responsibilities
- Pipeline Development: Develop and manage your own pipeline of potential customers, identifying new business opportunities and building relationships with key decision-makers.
- Sales Targets: Achieve and exceed quarterly and yearly sales targets, consistently demonstrating a strong solution sales background and organizational skills.
- Collaboration: Work closely with our Go-To Market teams, including Inside Sales and Application Engineers, to drive awareness, sales, and support for our prospects and customers.
- Sales Forecasting: Manage weekly sales expectations and forecasts for transactional and consultative business, ensuring accurate and up-to-date sales projections.
- Solution Mapping: Effectively define, communicate, and execute mapping Markforged solutions to customers' business needs, demonstrating a deep understanding of our technology and its applications.
- Travel: Willingness to travel up to 70% to meet with customers, prospects, and industry events.
Essential Qualifications
- B2B Direct Sales Experience: 5+ years of B2B direct sales experience in a revenue-closing role with proven quota attainment.
- Communication Skills: Highly productive communication skills with business and technical individuals, including C-Suite executives.
- Technical Aptitude: High level of technical aptitude to become a subject matter expert in additive manufacturing and 3D printing.
- Team Attitude: A positive, can-do, #OneTeam attitude is a key quality to succeed on the Markforged sales team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical Sales Experience: Technical sales experience of process-related products is a plus.
- AM and 3D Printing Knowledge: Experience and knowledge of Additive Manufacturing (AM) and 3D Printing a plus.
- Apple and Google Tools: Experience with Apple computers and Google collaboration tools is not required but a plus.
