Responsibilities
- Answer incoming emergency and non-emergency calls, routing them to medical emergency services and third-party providers as needed
- Obtain critical information from callers, remaining calm and composed in high-pressure situations
- Maintain quality results by following standards and emergency protocols
- Document actions and complete forms, reports, logs, and records accurately
- Perform general data entry tasks, including setting up new customer accounts and entering medical history
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Punctuality, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Ability to work well under pressure and exhibit emotional control
- Strong sense of urgency and commitment to providing excellent customer service
