Key Responsibilities: Making a Lasting Impact
- Comprehensive Evaluations: Conduct thorough speech and language assessments to identify student needs and inform therapy plans.
- Personalized Therapy Plans: Develop and implement tailored therapy plans that address the unique needs and goals of each student.
- Direct Therapy Services: Provide expert virtual therapy services to students, using evidence-based practices and leveraging technology to enhance engagement and outcomes.
- Collaboration and Communication: Participate in IEP meetings, collaborate with educational teams, and maintain open lines of communication with families to ensure seamless support.
- Record Keeping and Progress Monitoring: Maintain accurate and detailed records of student progress, therapy sessions, and communication with stakeholders.
Essential Qualifications and Preferred Skills
To excel in this role, you'll need:
- Active Oregon SLP License: A current and active Speech-Language Pathology license issued by the Oregon State Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology.
- Strong Organizational and Communication Skills: Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience with School-Based Caseloads: Prior experience working with school-based caseloads is preferred, although not required. We're committed to providing training and support to help you succeed.
