- Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation (RFI logs, meeting minutes, etc.).
- Meeting with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project.
- Developing comprehensive project plans to be communicated to clients as well as other staff members.
- Creating spreadsheets, schedules, and process guides to document requirements.
- Completing tasks as soon as possible without compromising quality and attention to detail.
- Providing recommendations for improvements that could increase production, streamline processes, and lower costs.
- Adhering to and enforcing safety best practices, policies, and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
- A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
- 3+ years of experience in the manufacturing or construction field (similar trade experience may be considered).
- 3+ years of experience in managing and ensuring safety on job sites.
- Experience in managing and coordinating subcontractors.
- OSHA 30 certification.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- A proven track record of meeting deadlines.
- Extensive knowledge of safety procedures and regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Travel may be required.
- Good instincts and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
While not mandatory, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and 5S.
- General knowledge of construction and manufacturing activities.
- Ability to perform basic math and measure area and calculate weight.
- Experience with project management tools and software.
