Job Overview
We are seeking an accomplished Senior Product Manager - Technical to lead key CX initiatives that are critical to the growth of our business. As a seasoned product leader, you will be responsible for owning the product strategy and execution for a large, significant program designed to improve the shopping experience for millions of customers worldwide. Your expertise in product management, technical acumen, and collaborative leadership will be essential in driving the success of our team and the growth of our business.
Key Responsibilities
- Own product strategy and execution for a large, significant program that is intended to improve the shopping experience for millions of customers WW.
- Collaborate with design, Client Experience design groups, applied science/ML groups, Personalization, category business groups, and others to align a vision and execute it.
- Create PRFAQs and vision documents to communicate the vision for novel ideas.
- Write product requirements/customer stories and iterate with help from key stakeholders.
- Own a product roadmap and make trade-off decisions as needed, given shopping data, customer feedback, customer analytics, and business inputs.
- Develop and own key performance metrics for your initiatives and lead deep dives as needed to analyze discrepancies, cannibalization issues, etc.
- Work closely with category management on business strategies to drive top-tier CX and maximize unit and sales growth through optimal analysis and action.
- Develop a understanding of relevant CE business trends/events, and continually monitor competitor/industry developments.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering, or math (STEM).
- 4+ years of product management or consulting experience.
- Excellent business writing skills.
- Experience managing relationships with stakeholders and vendors/partners.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with senior business leaders, and partner business/tech teams.
- Experience in defining or collaborating on the design of customer-facing products/innovations.
Preferred Qualifications
In addition to the essential qualifications, we prefer candidates with the following:
- MBA or advanced technical degree.
- Experience in an online, retail, e-commerce, or consulting environment.
- 4+ years of technology product management experience developing software-based products and experiences.
- Have a deep industry understanding and be familiar with online technologies.
- Have a strong track record of shaping business strategies and driving product teams in meeting the needs of a rapidly growing business.
- Experience with ML/Applied Science/Big Language Models (not required, nice to have).
