About the Role
As a Remote Wayfair Computer Operator, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale data platforms and business analysis solutions. Your expertise will enable our stakeholders to make data-driven decisions, drive business growth, and stay ahead of the competition. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement large-scale data platforms and business analysis solutions to support data-driven decision-making
- Build and maintain data engineering, data pipelines, reporting, data analysis, processes, and quality controls to enable self-service business intelligence
- Develop and maintain datasets that are easily consumable by non-technical users
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and engineers to build metrics and attributes that address broad business needs
- Work with terabyte-sized datasets to design flexible, robust analytical solutions
- Implement data-driven solutions, such as reporting, algorithms, or data integration systems, to align with business objectives
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field
- Strong technical skills, with experience in data analysis, business intelligence, and data engineering
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a remote team
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex business problems and develop effective solutions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to commit to working 40 hours/week (9am-5pm, Monday-Friday) from January 8, 2024-June 21, 2024
