About the Opportunity
blithequark is building a team of deeply passionate individuals ready to change primary care operations for those who need it most. We are looking for a highly motivated full-time Operations Support Associate who is willing to think creatively and operationally to help our team change the way people access healthcare. As the Operations Support Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring our Care Operations team is set up to support our patients, owning key operational support processes, and creating a foundation of process efficiency and improvement.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Own key Operations Support initiatives, proactively monitoring and reporting on key operational support processes and metrics.
- Support a team of documentation analysts by troubleshooting and monitoring project progress when necessary.
- Complete and monitor ECM and CHW program authorizations and annual reauthorizations to ensure enrollment and continuation of care.
- Work with partnered health plans to understand program denials and flag any enrollment issues.
- Provide backend support for transitions of care and referrals, ensuring closed-loop follow-up from the care team.
- Provide clear, timely communication to our care team when there is an enrollment change or status update.
- Support Care Operations leaders in owning and optimizing key standard processes, becoming efficient in your role and proposing ways to improve.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 1+ years of backend operations experience in a fast-paced healthcare environment, providing administrative and operational support.
- Confidence to own your role and propose solutions to be successful.
- A results-driven attitude with a proven track record of exceeding performance indicators.
- Reliability and comfort in an environment that is ever-changing, with a focus on improving the wellbeing of underserved communities through increased access to high-quality care.
- Strong technical skills and comfort with utilizing multiple technology platforms simultaneously, including Google Suite applications, Slack, and Looker (or other comparable data tools).
- A quiet, HIPAA-compliant, and internet-connected space to work from.
- Dedication to supporting and improving care for many underserved populations.
Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working in a remote environment, with a proven ability to stay motivated and productive while working independently.
- Familiarity with Medicaid MCOs and community-based healthcare programs.
