Key Responsibilities
As a Data Entry Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Managing multiple databases to ensure accurate record-keeping and data organization, including entering and updating data in various software systems.
- Entering grant data accurately into NRS to meet monthly, quarterly, and year-end deadlines, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Maintaining accurate records and following required procedures and practices for attendance and assessment data, including monitoring and evaluating student outcomes.
- Ensuring data security and compliance with FERPA regulations, maintaining the confidentiality and integrity of student data.
- Performing regular error checks and data clean-up in NRS to ensure accurate reporting and identifying areas for improvement.
- Organizing and prioritizing tasks to meet all local, state, and program deadlines, demonstrating excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Participating in staff meetings and professional development opportunities, contributing to the growth and success of our team.
- Performing administrative tasks, such as scanning documents, labeling items, inventorying supplies, and preparing mailings.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- High school diploma or GED required, with a strong foundation in office practices and procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Office Software, including Excel, Word, and other applications.
- Excellent data entry skills, with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to work cooperatively with others and convey complex information clearly.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, with minimal supervision and guidance.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
