About the Role
We're seeking a highly skilled, motivated, and experienced Data Entry and Analytics Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our data analytics team, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex data sets to inform business decisions, drive growth, and optimize our operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement large-scale customer-level experiments and in-market tests, providing actionable insights that will help us refine our strategies and achieve our goals. Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement large-scale customer-level experiments and in-market tests to measure the business impact of key initiatives, using your analytical skills to identify areas of opportunity and drive growth
- Collect, analyze, and interpret complex data sets to inform business decisions, developing and applying statistical modeling tools, techniques, and datasets to identify causal drivers of business impact
- Develop and maintain expertise in industry-standard A/B testing tools and technologies, using your knowledge to drive business outcomes and optimize our operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive learning plans and align program objectives with specific and quantifiable partner, customer, and business insights, ensuring that our strategies are data-driven and effective
- Communicate complex analytical findings to business stakeholders through clear and compelling stories and presentations, using your communication skills to drive business outcomes and influence decision-making
- Lead data preparation of complex datasets and ensure accurate analysis setup, using your attention to detail to ensure that our data is accurate and reliable
- Develop and maintain expertise in data visualization tools and techniques, using your skills to present complex data insights in a clear and compelling way
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, such as Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Operations Research, Computer Science, Economics, or Marketing Analytics, with a strong foundation in statistical analysis and data interpretation
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis or a related field, with a proven track record of driving business outcomes through data-driven insights
- Strong data querying skills (SQL) and advanced proficiency in R or Python, with experience handling large datasets and developing complex statistical models
- Experience handling data at scale via Spark (PySpark, SparkR, Scala, or Java) or other sources to generate business insights, with a strong understanding of data architecture and data management
- Proficiency in graphical analysis and data visualization (ggplot2, seaborn, matplotlib, Plotly), with experience presenting complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders
- Solid knowledge of A/B testing and inferential statistics (sample size determination/power analysis, hypothesis testing, regression, etc.), with experience applying statistical techniques to drive business outcomes
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with event tracking for web and mobile applications, using tools like Google Analytics, mParticle, and similar platforms to collect and analyze clickstream data accurately, with a strong understanding of user behavior and customer journey mapping
- Strong collaboration skills - desire and ability to work with partners to achieve the best outcome for the business, with experience working with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes
- Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills, with experience presenting complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders and driving business outcomes through data-driven decision-making
- Proven ability to manage multiple, time-sensitive projects and competing needs simultaneously to drive projects to completion with minimal direction and high attention to detail, with experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Knowledge of industry-standard A/B testing tools and technologies, such as Google Optimize, Optimizely, Apptimize, etc., or Adobe/Test and Learn software strongly preferred, with experience applying these tools to drive business outcomes and optimize operations
