Job Overview: Remote Customer Service Agent at blithequark

We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Customer Service Agent to join our client's team on a full-time, remote basis from Latin America. As a Customer Service Agent, you will be the face of our client's company, providing exceptional customer service, handling inbound and outbound calls, scheduling appointments, and performing various administrative tasks. Key Responsibilities:

• Primary Responsibilities:
  • Answer incoming calls, voicemails, and emails, serving as the "first ring" answerer, with an expectation of handling 20-30 calls daily.
  • Make outgoing calls to customers for scheduling, answering their questions, or updating them, with an expectation of making 30-50 calls daily.
  • Daily check all job statuses and make update calls/emails to customers, check on backordered parts, and communicate with other office staff or technicians.
  • Review prior day's completed calls and identify follow-up actions.
  • Route the next day's calls for each technician to minimize drive time.
  • Message the company owner and Parts Manager if adding jobs needing parts after the next day's parts have been pulled.
  • Submit the Daily KPIs form and send reminder calls from SD at the end of each day.
• Secondary Responsibilities:
  • Categorize recorded incoming calls based on who answered, whether a job was booked, and the reason for not booking, if applicable.
  • Update internal spreadsheets, SOPs, and Policies as changes occur.
• Additional Responsibilities:
  • Conduct follow-up surveys with customers ("happy calls") and fill out the corresponding form.
  • Schedule semi-annual servicing for customers with ice machines.
  • Research and share relevant blog articles from other appliance repair companies.
  • Maintain a list of appliance repair companies in South Carolina.
  • Compare prices for select parts across various suppliers.
  • Identify training opportunities to improve your skills and gather resources for training the next Customer Service Agent.
  • Participate in company staff meetings and train others on your job functions.
  • Fill in for other team members when they're absent and contribute to special projects.

Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Key Competencies:

• Previous experience in customer service, with a focus on call handling and issue resolution.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet KPIs.
• Proficiency in handling multiple tasks simultaneously and adapting to changing situations.
• A positive and proactive attitude, with a willingness to learn and grow with the company.
