**Responsibilities**
As a Pharmacy Technician – Data Entry Specialist, your responsibilities will include:
* Entering new orders for staff pharmacist review
* Maintaining up-to-date, accurate customer information
* Generating labels for dispensing
* Answering phones and responding to order inquiries
* Clarifying orders as needed
* Triage incoming faxes
* Maintaining accurate and efficient data entry practices
* Collaborating with the pharmacy team to ensure seamless delivery of pharmacy services
**Requirements**
To be successful as a Pharmacy Technician – Data Entry Specialist, you'll need:
* Registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy
* Previous experience in pharmacy, preferably in a long-term care setting
* Knowledge of brand names and generic medications
* Ability to work independently, accurately, and efficiently
* Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
* Knowledge of SIG-Codes
* Quick typing skills
* Computer literacy, including experience with Frameworks LTC system and PLUS
