About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Pharmacy Customer Service Representative to work in a remote capacity, primarily on weekends. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that claimants receive the medication benefits they need in a timely and efficient manner. This position offers a unique opportunity to work from the comfort of your own home on weekends, with a schedule that includes alternating weekends on a 4-day, 10-hour weekly schedule. Key Responsibilities
As a Pharmacy Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Preparing, inputting, and supporting claimant profiles in our pharmacy network
- Assisting pharmacies in the adjudication of claimant medications
- Coordinating and liaising with client adjusters, pharmacies, and claimants to ensure accurate assignment of medication benefits in multiple systems
- Supporting client needs on requirements for claimant medications with reporting and data
- Managing and updating client and claimant information in multiple systems
- Adjusting to changing processes and needs of various clients
- Answering questions from claimants, adjusters, and pharmacies on any topic related to the claimant's current or previous medications
- Performing other duties as assigned
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 3 years of related customer service or telephonic experience and/or training preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proficiency in computer software skills, including Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new programs
- Excellent communication skills, including active listening and the ability to ask the right questions in a fast-moving environment
- Strong written grammatical skills, with the ability to read and interpret documents such as letters and reports
- Exceptional telephone etiquette and customer service skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a dedicated team
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Experience working in a remote or virtual environment
- Familiarity with pharmacy networks and medication benefits
- Knowledge of Workers Compensation benefit management
