Key Responsibilities

• Model and convey a positive and exceptional client experience, ensuring that customers receive courteous, fair, and professional service.
• Register sales on assigned sales register, provide clients with considerate and efficient checkout service, and process voids, returns, and exchanges as needed.
• Engage clients and patients by greeting them, offering assistance with products and services, and resolving customer issues to ensure a positive experience.
• Recommend items for sale to clients and suggest alternative or companion items, taking into account their needs and preferences.
• Maintain counters and retire areas clean and well-promoted, take inventory, and keep records up to date, including checking in and pricing stock as required.
• Perform duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Director, Staff Pharmacist, and Senior Manager, including using pharmacy systems to enter patient and medication data, filling prescriptions, and verifying medication accuracy.
• Report prescription errors to the pharmacist on duty and adhere to company policies and procedures regarding pharmacy errors and the Quality Improvement Program.
• Handle calls that do not require the personal attention of the pharmacist, including those to physicians, and process manual claims for third-party program prescription services in a timely and efficient manner.
• Support and assist the Pharmacy Department with inventory management activities, such as ordering, receiving, and storing shipments of medications, and maintain knowledge of company asset protection methods.

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as pharmacy, healthcare, or business administration.
• Strong background in customer service, data entry, and pharmacy operations, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends, and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English, with strong numerical and computer skills.
• Knowledge of store inventory control and pharmacy systems, with experience in processing prescriptions and managing patient data.
