Key Responsibilities
- Perform basic product design, testing, and/or analysis work for a defined portion of a project, with a focus on delivering high-quality results and meeting project deadlines
- Operate in an Agile software development team, providing input to design solutions and participating in design reviews to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and functionality
- Develop recommendations within established guidelines, working closely with technical leads to ensure that your ideas are implemented effectively and efficiently
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements, and to develop and implement solutions that meet our customers' needs
- Participate in ongoing learning and professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends
Essential Qualifications
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering (or related fields)
- Registered as a full-time student at a local accredited university, with a strong academic record and a cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above
- Graduation date of May 2024 or later, with a commitment to completing your degree and pursuing a career in your field
- Available to work 16-20 hours/week during the academic year, and 35-40 hours/week during the summer semester, with flexibility to adjust your schedule as needed
- Able to complete assignments remotely per manager discretion, with a combination of onsite and remote work, and a strong ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with C or C++, with a strong understanding of programming principles and practices
- Experience with MATLAB or Simulink, with a ability to apply mathematical and computational techniques to real-world problems
- Experience with Python, with a strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns
- Good interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills, with a ability to work effectively with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy, with a commitment to delivering high-quality results and meeting project deadlines
