About the Role
We are looking for talented and dedicated teachers to fill part-time remote positions in various subjects, including Maths, Science, Social Studies, ELA, and Economics. As an Online K-12 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and interactive lessons to students, using our digital LMS curriculum and Zoom platform. Each teaching session will be 2 hours long, and you will be expected to teach early mornings and/or weekends. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality online lessons to students using our digital LMS curriculum and Zoom platform
- Prepare engaging and interactive lesson plans that cater to the needs of students
- Use a variety of teaching methods and strategies to promote student learning and engagement
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to help students achieve their goals
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to develop and implement curriculum plans
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following requirements and qualifications:
Essential Qualifications:
- US Certified/Licensed Teacher with a strong background in teaching Maths, Science, Social Studies, ELA, or Economics
- Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field (Master's Degree is a plus)
- Proven record of at least 1 year of experience in teaching Elementary courses, with digital teaching experience being a plus
- Familiarity with online/digital LMS (not required, but preferred)
- Willingness to teach early mornings and/or weekends
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in teaching online or in a virtual school setting
- Strong knowledge of curriculum development and implementation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
